Understanding Hawking temperature from quantum entanglement

One of the strong connection between the quantum information theory and the black hole physics is based on the conjecture of interpreting entanglement entropy as the black hole entropy, which passed various numerical tests. In the present talk, we add yet another strong supportive evidence to this conjecture, that is we numerically show that the temperature of entanglement is same as the Hawking temperature of black hole for massless free scalar fields. Also we show the validity of the first law of black hole mechanics using entanglement entropy and temperature.
