Quantum learning theory for bosonic systems
In this talk, I will discuss quantum learning theory for bosonic systems, focussing on (i) quantum machine learning algorithms and (ii) learning quantum systems. In the first part, I will review quantum kernel methods in bosonic systems, presenting how they can be dequantized and how to avoid it. In the second part, I will talk about recent works on learning quantum states and properties, including a recent protocol for classical shadows in photonic systems. I will conclude with a perspective on open questions in quantum learning theory for bosonic systems.
