From Circuits to Fermions: Insights into Quantum Complexity from Tensor Networks
This talk explores how concepts from interacting fermionic systems can inform our understanding of quantum circuit simulation. By expressing parity-preserving circuits as fermionic tensor networks, we obtain a controlled expansion that captures non-Gaussian effects and clarifies the origins of computational hardness.
